Anna and Sébastien offer a range of high-quality Provence honeys and are specialized in the production of Provence pollen.
Their lavender honey is 100% organic and satisfies France's very strict organic honey criteria:
- The hives must be located several kilometres away from polluted areas, including towns, highways, non-organic crops, industrial parks, etc. The same rules apply to pollen gathering areas.
- The materials used to build the hives must be free of chemicals and the frames must be made of organic beeswax.
- The bees must be nourished with their own honey and treated using natural methods.
- The honey must be cold-extracted (less than 40°). It must be pure and not blended with other honeys, as is frequently the case.
