Learn more about our wine flash sales

Take advantage, every week, of our exceptional offers of IGP and AOP wines from Provence. Whether for a wine delivery in France or in Europe, our customer service is available to assist you from Monday to Saturday.

Why do we have flash sales on our wines?

Flash sales or not, the quality of the wine on sale remains the same! And this, even if sometimes a number of organoleptic defects can be encountered in wine, on sale or not. They can be explained by the use of certain treated materials or the action of certain micro-organisms. That said, it is also a matter of perception. Indeed, each taster has their own sensitivity levels and therefore does not perceive the faults of a wine in the same way.
The Château de Berne flash sales are an opportunity for you to take advantage of great deals on our selection of wines.

      Which vintage to choose?

The Côtes de Provence brings together precise geographical names corresponding to different terroirs and wines. Among the Côtes de Provence appellation , we find red, white and rosé.
      Concerning the reds, the best vintages for twenty years are: 2020, 2019, 2017, 2016, 2014, 2010, 2009, 2005 and 2003.
For white wines from Provence, for around ten years, the best vintages have been 2015, 2017 and 2020. 2019 is also very interesting. The best vintages of the decade for Provence rosé wines include 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2020.

What types of grapes are used in the composition of your flash sale wines?

The grape variety is the variety of grape used to make wine, the type of plant. Thus, each grape variety is different in terms of its foliage and its grains (or berries) which can have their own sizes, colors and aromas.
It depends on the bottles of wine on flash sale, but here are the main grape varieties used in our different Provencal estates:

Vermentino: very common in Italy, Sardinia and Corsica. Today, its cultivation is done in the regions bordering the Mediterranean, mainly in Provence.

Colombard: golden white grape variety from a cross between Chenin and Gouais. Viognier: Rhone grape variety par excellence, it produces rich and fine wines, with aromas of violets and acacias.
Marselan: black grape variety from a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache Noir. Syrah Noir: emblematic grape variety of the northern part of the Côtes du Rhône.
Grenache Noir: it produces dense, fleshy wines with a wide aromatic palette. The aromas range from red fruit to chocolate notes.
Merlot: dark and dense grape variety, with aromas of red and black fruits and a superb aromatic palette.
Cinsault: grape variety originally from Provence, it is widely used for the production of rosé wines .
Cabernet-Sauvignon: originally a Bordeaux grape variety, it provides the tannic structure and aromatic bouquet.
