Learn more about our wine flash sales

Take advantage of our exceptional offers on IGP and AOP Provence wines every week. Whether you're looking for wine delivery in France or Europe, our customer service team is available Monday through Saturday.

Why do we have flash sales on our wines?

Flash sales or not, the quality of wine on sale remains the same! This is true even if sometimes a number of organoleptic defects can be found in wine, on sale or not. These can be explained by the use of certain treated materials or the action of certain microorganisms. That said, it's also a matter of perception. Indeed, each taster has their own levels of sensitivity and therefore does not perceive a wine's defects in the same way.

The Château de Berne flash sales are an opportunity for you to take advantage of great deals on our selection of wines.

Which vintage to choose?

THECoasts of Provencebring together within them precise geographical names corresponding to different terroirs and wines. Among themthe Côtes de Provence appellation, we find red, white and rosé.

Regarding reds, the best vintages over the past twenty years are: 2020, 2019, 2017, 2016, 2014, 2010, 2009, 2005 and 2003.

For white wines from Provence, the best vintages over the past ten years have been 2015, 2017, and 2020. 2019 is also very interesting. The best vintages of the decade for rosé wines from Provence include 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2020.

What types of grapes are used in your flash sale wines?

A grape variety is the type of grape used to make wine. Each grape variety is different in terms of its foliage and its berries, which can have their own unique sizes, colors, and aromas.

It depends on the bottles of wine on flash sale, but here are the main grape varieties used in our different Provençal estates:

  • Vermentino: very widespread in Italy, Sardinia and Corsica. Today, it is cultivated in the regions bordering the Mediterranean, mainly in Provence.
  • Colombard: golden white grape variety resulting from a cross between Chenin and Gouais.
  • Viognier: A quintessential Rhone grape variety, it produces rich, fine wines with aromas of violets and acacias.
  • Marselan: black grape variety resulting from a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache Noir.
  • Syrah Noir: emblematic grape variety of the northern part of the Côtes du Rhône.
  • Grenache Noir: produces dense, fleshy wines with a wide aromatic palette. The aromas range from red fruit to chocolate notes.
  • Merlot: dark and dense grape variety, with aromas of red and black fruits and a superb aromatic palette.
  • Cinsault: a grape variety originating from Provence, it is widely used in the production ofrosé wines.
  • Cabernet-Sauvignon: originally a Bordeaux grape variety, it provides the tannic structure and aromatic bouquet.
